Dear trade friends in the North,
过去几周，全国各地的疫情导致今年饮迷酒吧行业颁奖盛典在几乎所有主办城市都遇到了巨大挑战。此前，我们将天津与武汉的区域颁奖盛典进行对调，从而保证了中区颁奖盛典如期举办，同时也希望推迟两周时间能够让北区颁奖盛典顺利举办。As you have all been privy to the last few weeks of covid situation, it will come as no surprise to you that we have been facing issues with pretty much all of our host cities this year. The first change we made by swapping Tianjin for Wuhan was a close but good call, trying to give two more weeks for Tianjin to improve.
遗憾的是，北区的主办酒店（天津四季酒店）通知我们，天津已经宣布在未来7天内暂停举办任何大型活动，直到进一步通知。Unfortunately we have just been contacted by our hotel partner in the North, (Tianjin Four Seasons), who have told us that the city has been given a blanket directive from the local government to stop any and all events for the next 7 days, and until further notice.
因此，我们只能取消或推迟10月24日的北区颁奖盛典。我们尝试和重庆来福士洲际酒店沟通，想了解是否能将西区颁奖盛典提前到24日举行，但由于目前的疫情，酒店方建议我们还是在原定日期（10月31日）举办西区颁奖盛典。所以，我们无法将西区和北区颁奖盛典的举办时间对调。We have therefore been asked by the hotel to cancel or postpone the north regional award ceremony on October 24. We have since attempted to make a swap with InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City on those dates to see if we could push Tianjin another week, but with the unstable covid numbers in Chongqing right now, we have been told that we should aim to stick to our original October 31 date for our West China event, so the move is not possible.
这意味着我们别无他选，只能将天津的北区颁奖盛典转至线上举行。10月24日下周一，我们将在上海进行直播，邀请品牌合作伙伴与行业朋友共聚一堂，与所有直播观众一同见证北区颁奖盛典获奖者的诞生。后续我们将公布有关直播的具体时间与细节。This means, and I am sorry to say that we have been given no choice but to move our Tianjin and North China celebration ONLINE. Our aim is to stream this at around the same time next Monday 24th from Shanghai where we will bring our brand partners and some industry friends together to celebrate all of you in North China and give you the results of your regional voting. More info to come soon on those timings, and details.
虽然受到不可抗力的影响，但我们已经尽了一切努力，希望促成整个活动的举办。我们衷心希望能够得到北区行业伙伴的理解。明年，我们仍然会将北区颁奖盛典的举办地放在天津，邀请我们的好友共同庆祝北区酒吧行业的精彩表现。These are unfortunate circumstances but hopefully all of our friends in the North China region can see that we have gone out of our way to try and enable the event to take place. Next year we will keep the North Regional DRiNK Awards in Tianjin, and give our friends there another chance to celebrate the North the way it should have been done.
